At the Best of Both Worlds podcast, we always love telling the stories of women with big careers and big families — and Andrea Canning, this week’s guest on the Best of Both Worlds podcast, is definitely in that category.
In her role as a Dateline NBC correspondent, she covers all manner of stories involving true crime and human interest. She is also the mom of six school-aged kids. In this episode, she talks about building her career in television journalism and managing life in a large and busy household.
In the intro, Sarah and I talk about quick family visits (we were actually together to record this!) and then in the Q&A we share ideas for tween/teen birthday celebrations for kids who’ve aged out of traditional birthday parties.
Please give the episode a listen, and as always we welcome ratings and reviews. You might also consider joining our Best of Both Worlds Patreon community. We have multiple discussion threads going weekly, and this Wednesday at noon, eastern, we’ll have our monthly Zoom meet-up to discuss time tracking and time log analysis. Membership is $9/month.
