Welcome CBS This Morning viewers!

If you just found my website after watching the segment Charlotte Lieberman and I did on procrastination this morning, welcome! Maybe you’re here because you’re putting off doing something else, but if so, I hope you’ll find a few articles to make your procrastination worthwhile.

I write books about time management and productivity. My newest book, Juliet’s School of Possibilities, is a time management fable. We follow the heroine, Riley, as her life falls apart until she meets her mentor, Juliet, who shows her what it means to spend time well.

Gayle King’s joke about my being late to my own speech on time management (and the water heater story!) are both from my 2016 TED talk, “How to gain control of your free time.”

I have two podcasts. Before Breakfast is a short, every-weekday-morning show that features a bite sized productivity tip. I also co-host Best of Both Worlds with my friend and all-around superwoman Sarah Hart-Unger. I hope you’ll check those out as well.

Feel free to leave comments (on old posts too!) We have a great community of time management enthusiasts here. And for long-time readers who wonder what I’m talking about, you can catch the CBS This Morning segment here.

  1. I’ve been following your blog for a few years and have gleaned many helpful ideas for my life. Thank you! I pre-ordered Juliet’s School of Possibilities and the timing of its arrival was perfect for the things I was contemplating about my life. It has had a great impact! Putting the principles in the form of that story made them hit home so powerfully! Thank you so much!!
