Merry Christmas! This may be the last blog post for a while — I’m putting up my out-of-office message as it were. But I wanted to make sure to highlight a few other posts as my content is still running over at Before Breakfast and Vanderhacks, through to the new year.
At Before Breakfast, I suggested we “Budget time for transitions” — any transition takes time and often money, so it’s worth planning for both. I talked about “How to sleep in on a weekday” (basically, structure your sleep to wake up before your alarm!) and I interviewed Dr. James Hewitt on human endurance.
At Vanderhacks, my Substack newsletter, I suggested we “Connect when it counts” — there’s real value in being the person who’s there when others aren’t. I suggested the merits of a “Two tree approach” to situations where doing both might be better than choosing. And looking forward to New Year’s, I suggested that one might “Practice your resolutions.” I have been listening to a bit of Mozart already!
Have a wonderful post-holiday break and I’ll be back in the New Year!
