For math learning, my family really loves books by Danika McKellar. « Goodnight Numbers » is good for really little kids, and my newly four year old has asked for « I Love You 100 » over and over and over again. « Ten Magic Butterflies » and « Double Puppy Trouble » look good for slightly older kids. I really like the details – we are always noticing new details in the illustrations. « I Love You 100 » is also great to talk about unconditional love and just makes a fantastic bedtime book. There are a couple pages that talk about the Mom loving her son still when he has made a mess or when he is mad.
