Life often requires a lot of resilience. While no one wants to have to rebuild from bad things happening, we often don’t have a choice. Fortunately, some aspects of resilience and mental strength can be practiced as skills — so we can call on them when we need them.
Amy Morin, today’s guest on Best of Both Worlds, is the author of 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do, and the new The Mental Strength Playbook. She is a psychotherapist who has also experienced a lot of tragedy herself (including losing her husband when she was 26 years old). She talks about the strategies that helped her and have helped others too.
In the Q&A, Sarah and I talk about ways to help a friend going through a tough time. Please give the episode a listen!
