One of the fun parts of running a podcast for almost nine years is that we get to welcome back repeat guests! Manoush Zomorodi came on years ago, and now she is back this week, talking with Sarah about her new book, Body Electric.
Body Electric is all about what tech (and prolonged use of tech) does to our bodies. Manoush points out that we might not be able to do a digital detox, but getting up and going for frequent walk breaks is a great way to combat the ill effects of too much sitting, hunched over devices. Walk breaks boost mood and energy too. Her book has lots of stories of what happens in the real world when people take the advice to just get up and move.
In the Q&A, a listener asks for advice about staying healthy during frequent work travel. We have various ideas, from limiting alcohol to not passing up the opportunity to eat fruits and veggies. Please give the episode a listen! And if there are guests you’d like to hear from on Best of Both Worlds, please let me know.
