Launch week continues! I’m headed back into NYC tonight for my event at Henri Bendel. This promises to be a lot of fun. Tickets are $40, but that includes my book, Farnoosh Torabi’s When She Makes More (Farnoosh and I will be sharing the stage) and a $40 Henri Bendel gift card. So it’s kind of like it’s free! I’d love to see people there.
The folks at Morning Joe were kind enough to snap some pictures while I was on the set yesterday. So here are some shots of me, Mika Brzezinski, and Zanny Minton Beddoes (of the Economist). My kids have been watching the recording. It’s fun to see Mommy on TV.
A request: If you’ve been considering buying a copy of I Know How She Does It: How Successful Women Make the Most of Their Time, would you please do so this week? First week sales are really important for a book’s performance. If you’ve already bought the book, THANK YOU. Would you please consider writing a review at the retailer site where you purchased your copy? Reader reviews help convince other busy readers that a book is worth the time.
I am grateful for the reviews and coverage the book has been getting. Here are a few links. The SHU Box writes a review. Wandering Scientist also writes a review (and about how she survived her rough week!) Tara Mohr shared an interview on her blog. The Renegade Writer has a post up. Refinery 29 ran a Q&A. Alexis Grant has thoughts up on her blog on IKHSDI and work/life integration. And there are many more! I’ll keep listing more in later posts. Thanks again!
