If you watched CNN during last year’s presidential campaign, you no doubt saw Kristen Holmes plenty. Currently a senior White House correspondent for the network, she spent much of last year on the road covering the campaign and, since she had her second child in January, being very pregnant while in the spotlight.
In today’s episode of the Best of Both Worlds podcast, she and I talk about pregnancy, work and life, and the nature of an unpredictable job. We talk childcare, schedules, and managing pregnancy fatigue. We also talk about how one builds a career in such a competitive field. I really enjoyed this interview!
In the Q&A, Sarah and I talk about whether there are any downsides (or upsides) to having a larger age gap between kids.
Please give the episode a listen! As always, we welcome ratings and reviews.
