Sarah has three kids and I have five, so we’ve seen a lot of toys, children’s books, shows, baby products, etc. It’s fascinating to see what multiple kids will use (or read or watch), or that keeps getting played with over and over again.
In this week’s episode of Best of Both Worlds, we share some of our favorite things that have lasted or that we’ve bought over and over again (for things that aren’t supposed to last forever). We differ on the utility of some products, but are united on some (Magna-tiles and Duplos). In today’s episode, you might find a new book title to order for your kids or to give as a birthday present, or an older show to watch with your kids. So please give it a listen!
There’s also still time to sign up for our Patreon community’s monthly online meet-up. That will be this Thursday at noon, eastern. It is our “Habits Symposium” — how people have successfully started (or broken!) habits, and what has worked (or hasn’t). Membership is $9/month, which gives you access to the very active online forum too. Lately we’ve been discussing volunteering, and how our resolutions are going (among other things). Please join us!
I listened to this episode and wondered if you knew that Duplo and Lego fit together and you can build using both at once? I never knew that until my 8 year old discovered it! Loved the episode.
@Aly – Good to know! Especially if you need to bulk up some little Lego structures 🙂
