You hear us talk about our lives every week. But there’s plenty of stuff we haven’t covered! In this week’s episode of Best of Both Worlds, Laura interviews Sarah about her life (next week, Sarah will return the favor). Sarah discusses her favorite Jersey shore experiences, what she was like in middle school, her family’s quirks, her early career aspirations, and where she would distribute a theoretical $1 million charitable gift. Please give the episode a listen! As always, we would appreciate a rating/review on Apple podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Loved this episode! I feel like my middle-school self would have been friends with Sarah. Your podcast gets me through folding laundry and my commute and I really appreciate it.
@Sarah K- I wish I’d known Sarah in middle school too! And so glad you’re enjoying the podcast.
I also loved this episode. It’s great to hear how much Sarah loves her job – it makes me think about a period this spring/summer when she felt conflicted about working when her kids were dealing w/ distance learning and the disruption of covid. I think it’s a good reminder that at times we have to fight through tough periods at work because when those situations resolve, we still have a job we love and wouldn’t want to leave.
I also feel like I would have been friends w/ middle school Sarah… Middle and HS were rough periods for me – I actually asked my parents to send me to a boarding school in HS but they refused. I understand now as they didn’t want to give up that time with me in their house (which goes so fast!) but at the time I would have loved to have escaped my small town.
