Another school year is ending. My 4-year-old wrapped up preschool a little over a week ago, and today is the last day of kindergarten for the 6-year-old. Friday fodder

My Friday sitter is at a conference this week, so the toddler and I spent this morning hanging out. We did all right. We got groceries, checked out the froggies who are making all kinds of noise in the backyard, played with balls and learned the word flower, and that we sniff flowers, rather than eating flowers. Miscellany

We have had beautiful weather this week. It feels like spring, and on some days even like summer! I celebrated by going on a middle-of-the-week long run on Wednesday. This is one of the perks of self-employment. I ran about 6.5-7 miles. It was tiring, so I have some work to do before the Broad Street 10-miler in May, and my first half-marathon of the season in June… read more »
