Just a note that I have yet to see an article claiming that our failure to elect our first female Vice President is a sign of sexism in America. Since I’m not sure how many “America is still a racist country” articles would have followed an Obama defeat, this is an interesting omission.

The capacity of the person to do the job is MUCH more important than the gender. Palin was clearly not prepared. The job was too big for her. It was obvious at the vice-presidential debate.

If you care about sexism now, you completely miss the point.

Not electing Palin is NOT a failure, is a strong victory :)
